Hi, I’m Tracy!

My happiest moments are when I’m exploring a hidden local trail, a new path abroad, or simply a fresh way of seeing the familiar. For me, exploration has always been about more than the scenery. It’s about the awe, curiosity, and the quiet confidence that wake up when we step outside what we know.

I came by this honestly. Growing up as a "base brat" — a military kid who moved twelve times before graduation — I learned early that home is something you carry with you, and that newness, while uncomfortable, almost always has something to teach. That early rhythm of change became a kind of joyful addiction, and it has shaped everything about how I travel and how I help others do the same.

Why This Is My Passion

A stylized lightning bolt icon

Like many women, my path hasn't been linear. I've taken detours, made mistakes, and arrived at places I never planned to be. I usually found that those were often the most interesting ones. At 51, I took my first solo trip, on a trail on Vancouver Island, with a borrowed backpack and no real idea what I was doing. That trip turned out to be one of the most important things I'd done in years. I've spent the time since trying to understand why and how to help other women find that same thing without having to stumble into it accidentally.

Today I work with women who are ready to travel more intentionally — whether that means finally going solo, slowing down and seeing differently, or simply giving themselves permission to go. My job isn't to hand you an itinerary. It's to walk alongside you while you figure out what travel can actually do for you.

Stay In This Conversation

Every week, I send a short letter about travel, curiosity, and what it means to explore both near and far, boldly or quietly.

It's the best way to stay connected.

What Does Travel Need To Do For You Right Now?

Not every trip serves the same purpose.
And where you are in life shapes what you actually need from travel, and sometimes more than where you want to go.

This quiz helps you find that out.

My Travel Truths

Hands with Henna

Travel is for everyone

Because I’ve seen awe awaken in people of every age and season, proof that adventure doesn’t require permission or perfect timing, only a willingness to say yes.

Palmero

There is beauty and joy everywhere.

Because I’ve learned that wonder doesn’t wait for the perfect view or a plane ticket; it meets us when we slow down enough to notice what’s right here.

Every Journey is Unique

Because I’ve learned there’s no single “right” way to travel, only your way. The beauty is in our differences, in the stories we swap and the lessons we share along the path. When comparison falls away, connection blooms.

Travelling Means Being a Good Human

Because the more I explore, the more I understand that how we move through the world shapes what we find. Gratitude, respect, and curiosity turn every step into a connection.

Let’s leave each place and each encounter better than we found it.

This Is What I Write About Every Week

If any of this resonated - the curiosity, the beauty, the being a good human part - my weekly letter is where this conversation continues.
