A trip I'm designing
Vietnam
Rice terraces, river boats, and the beautiful chaos of everyday life
Still in the dreaming stage. Officially.
I think about this trip and my brain just goes: yes. obviously. when.
The trip is still a dream. Your name on a list is what will make it real.
What I’m imagining…
Village trekking
Walk between villages in rice terrace valleys. Doable, not extreme. Think 12-19km days through a landscape that earns every step. Not every day.
Ha Long Bay by boat
Drift through thousands of limestone islands. Kayaking, caves, and sunsets over water. Maybe even sleeping aboard a boat.
Cultural excursions
Markets, temples, women's art cooperatives, genuine local connections.
Homestays and local visits
Sleep in village home-stays. Share meals. Experience daily life rather than watching it from a tour bus.
Cooking classes
Learn to make the food you'll be dreaming about for years. Pho, fresh spring rolls, dishes you can actually recreate at home.
Optional add-ons
I'm dreaming of a post-trip visit to the Elephant Nature Park Sanctuary in Thailand.
An optional wellness week
The shape of the trip
When: March or Oct/Nov 2026, 2027, or 2028
Duration: 2 weeks minimum (Longer with add-ons)
Group: 8 to 12 women (Solo travellers very welcome)
Style: Comfortable, not luxury - affordable without compromising experience
Fitness: Active, not athletic - up to 19km on hiking days (not everyday)
Timing note: Still in planning - your interest shapes what happens next
This is the kind of trip I design from the inside out. Adventure, culture, local people, women creating something together. Those come first. The destination shapes around them. What I'm really building is the conditions for you to come home more expansive than when you left.
